Arts Thread is an online network exclusively for design students, graduates, schools, universities as well as individuals and companies with in design industry. Arts Thread offer free opportunities including digital portfolio space, and competitions with live briefs set by industry brands and companies, allowing students and graduates to network and have their work seen by others within the design industry.

In university, we’ve been fortunate enough to have visiting lectures from individuals and design studio’s such as Michael Anglove this year, as well as our live brief with Eley Kishimoto. As a student preparing to go into the design industry, the opportunity to network and have my work seen by people with in the design industry is incredibly valuable and essential.

Spotting and being pro active about actioning opportunities to promote my work is a key element to both enterprise and employability. How I promote my work and the way it gets seen by the design/ creative industry is both very important and essential; platforms like Arts Thread are a fantastic way to potentially reach a worldwide audience at the click of a button. Allowing me to reach a wider audience and people in the industry beyond the links I have made, and currently have access to through university at the moment.

I’ve become excited and eager to become involved in the Arts Thread network and have set up my own profile.

Please click here to see my Arts Thread profile and to view more of my work.
